Harrison Interiors

St Ali North

St Ali is synonymous with Melbourne coffee excellence, so when the opportunity arose for a second location, interior design firm Barbara and Fellows jumped at the chance to realise the interior. Alongside Zenibaker Architects, Harrison Interiors was enlisted to complete the design team and manage the project onsite.

The existing building was a heritage-listed warehouse, onto which an extension with sizeable openings was built, connecting the interior to its park-side location. A large central servery separates the main dining room from a specialty coffee bar with runway seating. A canvas of concrete, brick and dark timber is handsomely accompanied by a deep teal paint that demarcates spaces and is offset with lively custom graphic inlays throughout. Steel strapping offers flexible shelving options and continues the linearity of black suspended ceiling lights.
